Roby brings over 20 years of international IT leadership, project management and engineering experience to Zellerent. Roby previously founded Datec Corp., a successful provider of IT outsourcing services. He has worked for IBM's prestigious Thomas J. Watson Research Center as well as for Unisys, Olivetti and Dialogic. His technical expertise includes software design and development, networking, network and systems management, protocol development and relational databases. He holds Master's and Bachelor's degrees in electrical engineering.
Kalyan has directed security and compliance engagements with organizations such as ING, Columbus Regional Hospital, Toyota Financial Services, and Fidelity and has a strong background in deploying mission critical network and application infrastructure. He has also acted as a HIPAA Security Auditor. A trained ISO17799 Lead Auditor, he was also the Delivery Manager for the North American eSecurity Practice of TCS, an international IT services leader. During his tenure at TCS, he created and built the Security Engineering Team, and designed and deployed Internet infrastructure and Internet-based services at TCS facilities. He also acted as a Crisis Management Leader for TCS's Business Continuity & Disaster Planning program. He has a strong background in deploying mission critical network & application infrastructure. Kalyan holds a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Telecommunications, and is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
Steven has over 20 years of executive-level and consulting experience in corporate strategy, business development and software engineering. His technology background includes work for public and private Internet security, enterprise software, B2B platform and E-Business firms. He developed the E-Business strategy for a major consumer and business data firm; raised venture capital for start-ups, one of which was sold for $115M; positioned previously unknown B2B firms to win industry-wide recognition; and consulted for Ogilvy & Mather Direct and IBM. Steven was a contributing editor to the Official Internet Dictionary and wrote a column on Internet Privacy and Security for The Internet Lawyer newsletter. He has taught at Northeastern University and Berkeley Extension. He did graduate work in psychology at Harvard and received a B.S. from Tufts in electrical engineering, with a double major in computer science.
Dr. Johari, who holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Illinois at Chicago, was a Vice President of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) for six years, until mid-2006. While at TCS, Dr. Johari directed business operations for the high-tech vertical; for five years, he also led the TCS-America eSecurity offering. Prior to that, Dr. Johari worked for Compaq (Tandem) between 1987 and 2000. There, he was the Director of Product Performance, System Integration, and India Software Development for the NonStop Division. Prior to joining Tandem, Dr. Johari held various positions with Unisys (Burroughs), including Director of the Financial Systems Group, Executive Assistant to VP of Corporate Quality, Senior Consultant for Network Design, and Marketing Manager of Burroughs Network Architecture. For ten years (1988-1998), Dr. Johari was also an Associate Editor of SIGMETRICS, the Special Interest Group on Metrics for the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM).
